The Cotton District

The Cotton District is a walkable mixed-use development in Starkville that has been called a national model for new urbanism and traditional neighborhood development practices. The community is located on property once occupied by a large cotton mill operation and nearby tenant housing for workers. The Cotton District now features a variety of student and faculty housing, restaurants, bars, and shops.
