The Square, Oxford

The historic Square in Oxford, Mississippi, is home to some of the city’s top restaurants, nightspots, and shopping (including Neilson’s, the South’s oldest department store, and Square Books, one of America’s most-celebrated independent bookstores). The Square is anchored by the historic Lafayette County Courthouse, which was built in 1872.
