Magnolias of Aberdeen
The Magnolias of Aberdeen, built in 1850, stands as a stunning example of late antebellum Greek revival architecture, featuring a grand columned front portico and a mahogany double staircase with a Waterford chandelier. Once home to the Sykes family for generations, it now serves as a museum showcasing Sykes and Aberdeen history, offering daily tours with its surroundings of magnolia trees and azaleas. Additionally, it provides a venue for weddings and other special occasions.
