Highland Park Dentzel Carousel
The Highland Park Dentzel Carousel is one of the only remaining two-row stationary Dentzel menagerie carousels in operation. The carousel was manufactured in 1896 by Gustav Dentzel of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair and sold to the City of Meridian in 1909. AIt was designated as a national historic landmark in 1986.
