Meridian Museum of Art

The Meridian Museum of Art is a visual arts museum located in the historic Old Carnegie Library building in downtown Meridian. Established in 1970, the museum focuses on exhibiting contemporary and traditional artwork by regional, national, and international artists. It hosts a rotating schedule of exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, family activities, and other special community events. The museum’s permanent collections include seighteenth‑ through twentieth‑century European portraits, Southern photography, sculpture, and works on paper by regional artists.
