Teachers’ Lounge

During this after-school event, you will have the opportunity to have a glass of wine or other refreshments, tour current exhibitions, learn about upcoming exhibitions and events, network with fellow educators, and participate in an art-making moment.

4 – 4:30 PM: Meet and Greet with refreshments
4:30 – 5 PM : Guided Close-Looking Conversation in Joe Overstreet: Taking Flight
5 – 5:45 PM : Artmaking inspired by Joe Overstreet: Taking Flight
5:45 – 6 PM : Wrap-up and award door prizes
We will gather in the Cadence classroom before going into the exhibition spaces for a close-looking tour followed by an activity in the classroom. There will be a drawing for door prizes for teachers who pre-register for this event. Complimentary light refreshments will be served.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged. Please sign up and encourage your co-workers to sign up too!
